Are your products halal?

Yes! All of our products are zabiha halal, and made with non-GMO, USDA organic-certified ingredients. All extracts used in our baking contains 0% alcohol.


How about vegan and other dietary restrictions?

Almost every product can be made vegan to order, and we can also accommodate to egg and dairy substitutions. As always, please specify this in the submission form!


How do I contact you?

The best way to reach us is through our contact form found on the “order form” button on our home page. All other contact information can be found at the main home page as well.


Why can’t I see prices listed for your products on your website?

Since this is a bespoke bakery, only base prices will be visible to all customers.

We try our best to keep our prices steady. Extra customizations, specialty flavors, add-ons, time, supplies, effort, and the market for ingredients during certain times of the year, are all the ultimate determining factors for each cake.


How much are tiered cakes?

The starting serving size for tiered cakes are 30 people, i.e., two tiers. Each tier is priced with an additional $20.


Do you offer cake tastings?

Cake tastings are only available for weddings. Pricing varies on the amount of flavors requested (3-5). Prices of the cake tasting will be deducted from the final wedding cake upon confirmation.


How do I place an order?

Click the Order Form button on the home page, and submit the completed form. We will contact you shortly and message via email for further order information.

Once we reach out to you, we can discuss design options for your dessert(s) so that you can be priced accordingly.


Will my cake be like the photo(s) I sent?

Exact replications cannot be made. No two cakes are exactly the same -- every baker specializes in their own style and level of expertise in cake decorating. Pictures are a great way to start designing you dream cake, but they can only be used as references. 


How does payment work?

We currently only accept Zelle or Cashapp, for which the information will be provided in your invoice confirmation.

Please be aware that orders must be paid in full at least one week prior from the pickup date in order to book a time and date slot. The same applies to large orders exceeding $100; however, a half-deposit must be made at least two weeks prior from the pickup date to ensure the order is booked.


Do I get a receipt?

Invoices will be sent via the email provided in the order form. Information such as details of the dessert(s), prices, and policies will be included in the invoice. This will be the confirmation email with a guaranteed time and date slot for said order(s). 


What about cancelling an order?

Cancellation of orders must be communicated to Cakes & Canvas one week before pickup date.

Cancellation of large orders (exceeding $100), must be communicated to Cakes & Canvas two weeks before pickup date.

There will be no refund if the cancellation request is made after the time frames above, there will be an additional charge of 25% of the order to cover the cancellation fee.


Can I get a refund?

All of our products are non-refundable unless a cancellation request is made within the time frame of the order. More information can be found right above this question.


Do you offer delivery services?

At this time, we only offer delivery services on wedding orders, granted that this is communicated prior to order confirmation. 
The general rule is $30/10 miles + $15 /hour.

All other orders must be picked up from our location within the designated time slot. Pickup details are sent within the confirmation email.


What happens if my cake or dessert gets damaged on the way to my event?

Once our desserts have left our premises, we no longer hold the responsibility for any damages that may occur after. We ensure the standard and integrity of our cakes, up until they are picked up. External factors or mishandling while in transit to the final venue are out of our control, hence refunds cannot be made. Customers are always reminded on how to care for their desserts to maintain their quality!


Do you ship?

At this time, we do not ship any of our products, either nationally or internationally.
However, we may start rolling out cookie boxes nationally in the near future (:
